Passionate about STEM education and equity to develop the next generation of talent.I "grew up" managing people and projects as an Air Force aircraft maintenance officer then Air Force program manager for a $1.6 billion multi-prime defense sustainment and modernization contract. Now, I am fortunate to be able to use my skills in project management along with my passion for education, STEM, and service to support underserved and underrepresented students in connecting with and developing an interest in advanced technology and manufacturing. As the Deputy Director for NextFlex Learning Programs Workforce Development efforts, I am responsible for the maintenance & sustainment as well as growth & expansion of our #FlexFactor and #Flex2Future programs. NextFlex is a Manufacturing USA Innovation Institute focused on flexible hybrid electronics. Our workforce development programs work to raise interest and awareness as well as to close the skills gaps, creating the next generation of STEM professionals.Personally, I am passionate about engaging organizations and individuals for the advancement of military families, military children, and the communities we call home.
