I am a Computer Scientist for the U.S. Geological Survey at the Wetland and Aquatic Research Center (formerly the National Wetlands Research Center) and serve as the DevSecOps Lead for the Advanced Applications Team, focusing on Cloud Infrastructure and Security. I have years of experience on the team in a web applications developer role, particularly in C#/.NET and JavaScript. I served for nearly 8 years as a Governor appointed Commission Member on the Louisiana Environmental Education Commission, including 2 terms as Commission Chair.I am a Commercial Pilot with an Instrument Rating in addition to being a Certificated Flight Instructor with Instrument & Multi-Engine Flight Instructor certifications (CFI/CFII/MEI).I particularly enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I enjoy sports, especially international football (soccer), for which I hold a U.S. Soccer Federation National D Coaching License.
