I joined Together as the 6th employee and was told I had one mission.. recruit big name meetings. Equipped with a vision, MacBook Air, and an Android... I landed meetings with: Nike, Converse, Billabong, LEGO, Cabela's, American Airlines, Urban Decay, Fossil, Tory Burch, PETCO, Orbitz, Avon, Allegiant Airlines, Tilly's, ZARA, Columbia Records, and many more. I even exchanged six emails with the shark they call Mark Cuban. What more could I have asked for? I loved it.After an amazing year at Together, I had a strong urge to launch my own startup called COURAJ. I truly enjoyed working at Together and wish them all the luck in the world, although I'm sure they won't need it.

Ask your average college student if they would start a fitness apparel business during their senior year of college, while also running all concessions for the athletic department. Most would say you are crazy. Now ask me... SURE WHY NOT...And so Hustle for Muscle was born... This was one of the best decisions of my life. While most people were learning their 4 p's, I was applying them. While most people were getting hammered, I was hammering a screen printing press. While most people were trying to find a job, I was creating them. I learned crazy amounts about marketing, finance, ecommerce, branding, social, risks, sacrifice, sales, startups and everything else having to do with business. I decided to relocate H4M from Alabama to Austin, TX after I graduated. Within less than a month of arriving in Austin, Greg Brown of Together Mobile made me an offer I couldn't refuse...

I ran all concessions for the athletic department. When the crowds got big, the food came fast and my teams delivered. My teams and I raised sales 300% from the previous year. This was a fun way to meet new people. There is something special about serving hotdogs to a hungry fan ;) PS. Lisa, if you are reading this, I miss ordering Coca-Cola from you.
