University Graphic Systems is a student-managed and operated digital imaging enterprise and one of the greatest manifestation of Cal Poly's "learn by doing" philosophy. As the General Manager, I hired and managed a team of 14 managers, as well as facilitated the training of 60-80 student interns each quarter. My main responsibilities included financial planning, guiding departmental and company-wide improvement initiatives, managing conflict internally, and resolving customer complaints.
