• Work in partnership with colleges and universities across the state, drawing on their resources to foster a school-wide college-going culture for over 600 students at Manor High School.• Participate in a national external evaluation to quantitatively measure outcomes and qualitative results while encouraging students to attend schools that will serve them well both academically and socially. • Completing a six-week practical curriculum that focuses on college access, college admissions, financial aid, student services, diversity, community service, and professionalism.

• Draft legislative policy papers, internal memorandum, and public correspondence to advise Representative on legal policy and constituent issues.• Source information for press releases, speeches, and meetings • Foster government/community relations with constituents and organizations• Handle all administrative tasks such as scheduling, meeting agendas, and correspondence • Oversee and manage Summer Intern Team

• Working with Texas State legislature through the House of Representatives• Assist with bill brainstorming, writing and analysis• Foster Government/Community relations with multiple agencies • Policy analyst: County Affairs and Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence

• Oversee 40 Student Ambassadors through scheduling, shadowing campus tours, and distributing office responsibilities• Recruit students through leading campus tours at special admissions events attended by over 3,000 prospective applicants• Counsel prospective freshmen about the admissions process weekly through multiple campus tours and in person office visits• Host and lead tours at diversity recruiting events typically attended by 50-100 prospective underrepresented minority students
