I have attended many colleges.Through the college courses I have taken I have learned how to write research papers, use excel, power point and Microsoft word.. I have a passion for animals and have worked with a local rescue as a foster for the Animal Refuge Foundation of Wayne County. I then helped owner of Dandidog grooming with her personal and foster animals. I am very reliable and will do my best at any task I am put with. I have also completed tasks at local stables. I trained and cleaned stalls at Wild wood Stables when I was a child. Then in high school I dabbled in riding Tennessee Walking Horses. My senior year and through my first year of college I worked at a private farm carrying for and excising there Arabians. I also cared for their dogs and cats, While at Krystal I worked long hours when needed to. If I was ever needed on short notice I was there as soon as I could get there. In Virginia I cared for my husband while he was being discharged. Now that I have moved to Texas I am working at a child care. I will do anything I am asked to do and I am always willing to learn new things. I also love to travel.

Cashier/CookJesup Drive-In May 2013 - Jul 2013As an employee at the Drive-In I had many tasks. One of my first tasks of the night would be to open the concession stand. I would first clean the field and start the appliances in the building. I would then start popping the popcorn and setting up the rest of the food. I could cook anything from our fried Oreo to pizza. I complete basic tasks like running the cash register and answering the phone. If it was a night were we had no car hops I would take orders to cars. I complete basic tasks like running the cash register and answering the phone. If it was a night were we had no car hops I would take orders to cars. At the end of the night I would take out the trash and clean the floors and the restroom. I would then lock up the stand and close the gates. Some nights I would even open up the gates and give tickets. To work at the drive-In I had to do know how to complete many different tasks and help customers with any complaints. The Jesup Drive-In is a real treasure. In 1958, there were more than 4,000 drive-ins in operation across the United States, but today only 372 remain. We’re fortunate in Jesup to have one of only a few Drive-Ins left in the entire nation, and the oldest Drive-In in Georgia. Renovations were completed to improve the experience of the Drive-In by enhancing the nostalgic ambiance. Plans included adding décor from the 1950s era. One specific addition was our carhops -- waiters/waitresses dressed in 50’s attire -- who take food orders from your car. You can also call in or text us your food orders. Show less

I interacted with customers in several ways. As a cashier I may take an order either at the front counter or pick-up window. Often, I also performed other fast food jobs, such as cooking, food preparation, and restaurant maintenance. Overall, I often work in a fast-paced setting. I also helped take inventory, changed labels on food products, as well as filled out certain charts for that shift. I worked both the front counter and drive-thru. Doing so I usually kept the front of the house clean. It was on October 24, 1932, when the nation’s first Krystal restaurant opened its doors on the corner of Seventh and Cherry Streets in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee amid the harsh financial times of the Great Depression. Its founders, Rody Davenport Jr. and J. Glenn Sherrill, believed that despite the severe economic upheaval of the times, people would patronize a restaurant that was kept spotlessly clean, provided courteous service and offered a good meal at the lowest possible price. Proving this theory true, the restaurant’s first customer, French Jenkins, ordered six Krystals and a cup of coffee, all for the bargain price of 35 cents. The restaurant became an overnight success with customers flocking to the small building to savor hot-off-the-grill Krystals and sip freshly brewed coffee from thick china mugs. Those not lucky enough to snag a seat would order sacks full of Krystals to take with them, making Krystal a pioneer in the business of good food "to go." The Krystal story starts with two men, one store and a mission—to bring folks in the South the best little burger they’d ever tasted. A lot of things have changed since we opened over 81 years ago (making us America’s second-oldest fast food restaurant), but deep down that’s still what we’re doing today. Show less
