Senior Engineer, 2009 | Engineer I-III, 2005-2008• Designed sand screens for cased and open-hole applications and supported the manufacturing of the products. • Extensively used Excel in the upkeep of the Sand Screen design generator. Responsibilities included revising logic and calculations when changes to the product were made.• Created design procedure documents, including the comprehensive Sand Screen Engineering Training Guideline, which contained information regarding product design, manufacture, and other engineering duties.• Created Manufacturing Process Instructions for Sand Screen designs. • Conducted multi-departmental preproduction meetings to review design details of the product before manufacture.• Led a multi-departmental team to develop software to electronically capture and instantly verify traceability information for Sand Screen products during manufacture. o Worked with the Quality Assurance department to develop the specification for the software development requirements. o Developed the logic required for the software to pull, verify, and record the required information. o Assisted in testing the system, creating training documentation, and training personnel to use the new system.• Developed and performed testing to determine the acceptability of components with surface defects.
