During my time at Parker I have taught a variety of English courses with particular emphasis and time spent teaching English 9 (including honors), English 12 (remedial and regular), Novel Study and AP Literature and Composition. During my many years teaching AP, over 80% of my students who have chosen to take the national exam have earned a score of 3 or higher. I served as a co-advisor for the National Honor Society and currently remain on the faculty selection committee, serve on the scholarship committee, the Distinguished Vikings committee and have participated in numerous initiatives for the district including inclusion and differentiation, character education, and Project Redesign for the high schools. I have recently become a member of the district's CREATE team to encourage and support culturally relevant learning. In 2016 I was asked to be the AP Vertical Team Professional Learning Community leader for the English department and continue to serve in that role.

Worked as special education team teacher in six different classrooms in an 8th grade house. Responsible for collaborating with 8th grade team members, case management, testing, differentiation, behavioral interventions, and an academic resource. Assisted with homework club.
