I began my surveying career in Alberta, as a graduate of Surveying Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1985. I worked for Alberta Transportation until 1987, designing forestry trunk roads through the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I then moved to Ontario where I fell in love with cadastral surveying, while working in remote areas in Haliburton, and urban areas around Orillia. This experience with Dearden and Stanton led me back to University where I finished the courses that would allow me to enter articles. In 1997 I received my commission as an Ontario Land Surveyor and began my career with IBW Surveyors, becoming the President in 2001.My biggest achievement has been my marriage to Marc, and raising our two children, Jacob and Ethan. The "children" are now moving on to their own bright futures.I am a member of the Complaints Committee with my professional association.I was a proud Rotary member, with Northumberland Sunrise Rotary from 2007 to 2013.Specialties: Condominiums, boundary retracements and development.
