Crystal Echo Hawk is President and CEO and a member of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma. She has eighteen years of experience in philanthropy, social justice and work with Indian Country. Echo Hawk Consulting offers expert services in executive nonprofit leadership, philanthropic giving, community development, program design, fundraising, public relations and marketing to tribes, grantmakers, businesses, nonprofit organizations and philanthropic individuals focused on strategic growth, social change, and investment in Indian Country. Crystal has a proven ability to develop and implement a strategic vision, raise and leverage resources, achieve consensus among key stakeholders and deliver measurable results in a wide variety of philanthropic, corporate and tribal settings. The Notah Begay III Foundation was established in order to begin to address the profound health and wellness issues impacting Native American youth and to empower those youth to realize their potential as tomorrow’s leaders. To this end, the Foundation is committed to helping Tribal Nations build the capacity to design, manage and sustain effective sports, wellness and leadership programs for Native American youth. As Executive Director, I am responsible for the organization's consistent achievement of its mission, organizational development and sustainability so that we may achieve a profound and long term impact on the health and well-being of Native American youth.
