Ensure that supplies, tools and equipment are properly requisitioned, ordered and delivered on time and on quality.Perform the vital task of assets management, insuring that purchased supplies are moved smoothly through the company’s 2 west coast warehouses and 151 SalonCentric professional stores. Communicate and resolve lead time, delivery, quality and pricing issues. Manage receiving of purchased items process.Develop and manage key supplier relationships. Conduct supplier evaluations to determine suitability and to make recommendations for improvement. Research new sources for beauty industry supplies and processes and make recommendations.Maintain par level on all stocked items and maximize inventory turn.Review integrity of inventory database to ensure accuracy on a regular basis. Ensure supply chain process is accountable for meeting continuous improvement initiatives both from a strategic and tactical perspective including quality improvement, inventory reduction and cost reduction on a year over year basis. Manage Invoice payment and Metrics.Accurate and timely maintenance of item master, monthly commitment and open orders report. Responsible for PO Approval Signature for procurement team. Work closely with Operations team to meet annual cost savings objectives. Partner with AP to insure operational effectiveness is met throughout the entire purchasing cycle. Assist finance team to insure objectives are met to streamline purchasing cycle. Day to day direction for 6 buying agents and 3 buying assistants.In charge of all physical inventories. Work with warehouse and physical flow processes to make sure inventory was accurate.
