Dr. Crystal D. Hawkins, EdD, is a thought leader and leadership scholar who worked in various leadership roles in the New York City Department of Health. In 2021, she led the charge to establish New Family Home Visits, a 28 million dollar city government initiative to provide advocacy and services to families via home visit in historically disenfranchised communities with the highest disease burden.Crystal Hawkins believes that leadership is both an iterative process and that the highest calling of leadership is the development of people. Crystal Hawkins is passionate about creating healthy outcomes and equity for people from all walks of life and in various environments.
