Manage sourcing of all mechanical and electrical components relating to manufacturing of hybrid and electric drivetrains; including a variety of materials ranging from but not limited to motors, batteries, control modules, cable, wire, connectors and fabricated parts. Responsible for creating and implementing an inventory management system for all projects. Establish and maintain several vendor relationships, as well as communicate all requirements requested by engineer team. Organize critical material delivery to meet demanding manufacturing schedules. Administer all logistic domestic and international shipments. Primary AP contact for all vendor bill processing.

Manage large purchasing contracts for Lam Research (Ranging from $ 500K to 2.5M). This entails dissecting multi-level BOMs (Bill of Material), identifying all CE OEM vendors and qualifying pricing and copy exact prior to ordering. Maintaining time-line for all incoming material in a critical environment where late delivery will have great financial effect to our company and jeopardize end-user relationship. Provide Weekly costing and shortage reports to Lam Research. Other duties include: Managing my team to ensure all material is received/kitted/ and costed correctly. Use of SAP and working with engineers as needed to solve procurement problems. Worked with logistics to arrange large scale shipments.

Purchasing materials including metal, IC sockets, relays, capacitors, terminal blocks, labels, cables, wire, etc. Other duties included reviewing purchase requisitions, processing new vendors, maintaining a relationship with established vendors, processing RMA requests, answering phones, transferring phone calls, filing, scanning and data entry.
