Established standard work. Created an Andon System for abnormalities;April 2008 – Organized a Kaizen event in OPS GN area to improve productivity and implement standard work;May 2008 – Lead Kaizen event in the DTW Department which resulted in improvements in both 5-S and better utilization of labor. Designed standard work for a safe and organized work environment;June 2009– Conducted an Andon survey on the 119 UBE to improve productivity and decrease cost lost. Resulted in positive results of lost cases improvement by 45%;August 2009 – Traveled to Covington, Georgia for company Kaizen event for optimizing packing operation to eliminate wasteful packing methods.August 2009 – Leveraged Covington, Georgia Kaizen event to Canandaigua.September 2010 – Developed CCI packing table for use in the DTW department, specifically to be used for the school lunch tray product. Resulted in positive results with 12.5% increase in productivity and 30% increase in pounds per man hour.
