Knotz is a start-up virtual wedding planning service that aims to provide customers with convenience when planning their wedding by connecting clients to various vendors including venues, photographers, bridal boutiques and hair & makeup artists. It is also the parent company of The Secret Patio, an event space suitable for hosting weddings, solemnisations, photoshoots and even pop-up events, etc.Throughout my 3 months internship here, I worked in the company of 4-5 members and completed the following:- Oversaw the company's marketing activities and developed digital marketing collaterals such as Instagram posts, stories, and eDMs for the company to promote wedding bundles, partnering vendors, events, and others.- Created video content such as webcasts and promotional videos as part of the company's marketing activities.- Handled B2C inquiries for both Knotz and The Secret Patio and closed multiple sales throughout my internship, as well as liaised with clients regarding booking and venue arrangements.- Co-organised a 2-day wedding fair involving multiple vendors at The Secret Patio with my fellow intern, and obtained a turnout of approximately 150 attendees through marketing efforts. - Created a content calendar to organise marketing activities as well as crafted the company's marketing SOP for handover to future interns.- Provided on-site assistance for events at The Secret Patio such as assisting during weddings and solemnisations, waiting tables at wedding receptions and a pop-up dinner, overseeing photoshoots, etc.- Other ad-hoc jobs include conducting site visits with clients, setting up and tearing down the venue for events, and helping with the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the space.

- Led multiple projects such as writing SOPs for trip research, inventory management procedures and configuring inventory management systems on Airtable for Anywhr.- Organized and managed Anywhr’s inventory, oversaw packing and mailing of Anywhr envelopes, and responsible for daily administrative tasks such as checking company emails.- Conducted detailed research on hundreds of destinations overseas and did copywriting of descriptions to entice travellers to visit these destinations or try certain food during their travels. - Personalized travelogues for travellers according to specified preferences like their hobbies, interests, and diet preferences, by carefully selecting destinations and food/beverages at their surprise destinations, then customizing personal messages and captions to further personalize the specially curated trip for travellers.- Utilised software such as Figma, Trello & Airtable to organize data and create travelogues.- Onboarded and guided new interns in conducting trip research and destination/food copywriting.
