CurrentManage the Canadian Blood Services Research Ethics Program (REP). The REP facilitates the review of research and quality improvement studies involving human participants through Canadian Blood Services' internal stakeholders and its independent Research Ethics Board (REB). Requests can be submitted by both internal and external researchers for personal information (data) or biological materials (products) collected by Canadian Blood Services. Requests can also include studies recruiting from the general public, as well as Canadian Blood Services donors, volunteers, and staff. Oversee day to day operations of the REP office and supervise support staff. Monitor and implement continuous improvements to the REP processes in response to the ever evolving research landscape. Manage governance and membership of the REB. Member of the CBS Data Governance Operating Committee.
