Delivers 4-H positive development programming directly to youth. Provide direct services that align with the Georgia 4-H AmeriCorps Program objectives: Facilitate 4-H club meetings;Prepare students for 4-H Project Achievement; Attend 4-H Summer Camp;Assist with other 4-H base programming. Assist the County Extension Agent in the day-to-day activities involved with providing direct services to youth, such as planning and development of 4-H programming. Track and document data related to AmeriCorps performance measures and monthly reports, supported by the AmeriCorps State Program Coordinator. This includes administering surveys to youth as well as data entry.Support and provide leadership to the county 4-H Volunteer program: recruit, screen, train, and engage volunteers. Assist with coordinating the county volunteer registration database. Attend local, district, and state program activities and events alongside the County Extension Agent. Participate in required AmeriCorps Trainings: New Service Year Orientation (NSYO) inOctober at Rock EagleCPR/First Aid, additional face-to-face trainings, and monthly webinars. Performs related service as required, including transportation of youth.

•Reports to school office at beginning of school day to pick up required materials/schedule of classes and at the end of the school day to return materials. Follows sign out procedures as prescribed by the principal.•Carries out a program of study prescribed in the lesson plans left by the classroom teacher.•Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.•Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives as indicated in the lesson plans for the lessons, units, or projects assigned.•Employs instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting lesson objectives.•Maintains a neat and orderly classroom. Straightens chairs, tables, clears chalkboard, etc.•Takes attendance in accordance with school procedures.•Indicates to students at beginning of class the basic expectations for behavior in the class in accordance with school and Douglas County Schools policies.•Insures that the students are never left unattended in the classroom.•May perform duties usually required of absent teacher such as lunchroom duty, hall monitoring, etc.•Knows emergency evacuation routes for the classrooms assigned.•Knows procedures for referring students who are disciplinary problems.•Knows school procedures and regulations. •Performs other related duties as directed by principal

 Performs admission procedures and collects pertinent data for patient assessment, with developmental disabilities and addictive disorders Observe and report changes in patient behavior and health condition Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers and mental health assessors in providing for the psychosocial and physical needs of patients  Facilitate interventions according to service treatment plan as delegated by the medical staff Establish goal oriented relationships with patients in order to promote recovery through the therapeutic program
