-Hiring, training and supervising new hires employees for the first 90 days in the company -Responsible for all the accounting staff ongoing training during the year-Develop company manuals, tutorials and training material-Responsible for company new software implementations and training -Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned clients-Conduct clients meeting -Prepare one on one monthly employee evaluations -Compose daily records of accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple clients -Prepare and process California and out of State sales tax returns-Process weekly, bi-weekly and semimonthly payroll, including corresponding with State and federal agencies for employee garnishments and keeping employee records.-Prepare payroll journal entries at the end of each payroll.-Conduct and review month end journal entries such as recurring journal entries, repetitive invoices, and reconciling company credit cards. -Track fixed assets and accounting accruals -Perform bank reconciliation entries-Reconcile prepaid assets -Maintain positive communication with small business owners, managers, supervisors and vendors -Counsel clients based on managing bank accounts-Practice discretionary policies when securing private information
