I first became interested in the field of finance when I took an accounting class in high school. I was hesitant to take the class at first, but I found rather quickly that it was something that I was exceedingly good at. I also saw that it was a field that I could see myself being happy in for a long time. In our biggest assignments I found that I was good at managing my time and prioritizing individual tasks. The way that I think and process information matched well with the work involved in the accounting and finance processes.Since then I have focused my education on business and have begun making connections with other business professionals for insight and advice. Something I have come to value most through these conversations is relationship building and connections. I intend to use their input to guide me through my education and my career to ensure that I succeed.
