As the pandemic ensued, the latter became my most pivotal role, ensuring all public health information was accurate, updated daily (or as necessitated by the CDC), and communicated in an understandable manner. In addition, I was responsible for helping design and implement a new website, creating and maintaining an annual budget, managing relationships with advertisers, and ensuring proper placement in key media outlets. I also volunteered my time to help organize and run internal events to help bring our team together to give back to our local restaurants and community organizations, and stimulate morale-boosting efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
