I have been working in the life insurance industry since the 1980's and have a passion for this field of work. I started in a life brokerage for 10 years, then a year or so for a financial planner, 7.5 years at CNA Insurance (until Iay-offs hit), a year or so for Medicare DME fraud investigations, relocated to MD for 1.5 years at Banner Life (until I was needed back in TN, and no telecommuting available at that time), and now almost 16 years with AIG/American General. I have been working remotely for almost 11 years now. Throughout my career I've been a licensed L&H agent and had experience in sales, case management (brokerage & home office), fraud investigations, and almost 20 years growing as life insurance underwriter. I'm self-motivated and very good at working efficiently with minimal management needs, good communication skills, cost conscious, and I pride myself in quality work. Trust me, nobody is harder on me than I am on myself. I have my ACS, AIAA, and AALU. Interested in continuing my education to obtain FALU (2 tests to go) and FLMI (4 tests to go), when life and work allows the time for required studying. This industry has been an excellent career choice for me, I'm in it for the long haul, and still love what I do. I'm blessed.
