Crystal Bruce, CMP, has more than 23 years of experience in meeting/event planning and marketing. Her experience spans several industry sectors including non-profit, government, association and corporate. She has managed programs as small as a ten person executive retreat to a five-day national conference with 4,000 attendees. Prior to founding FairWind Meetings & Events, Crystal was Assistant Vice President of Meetings and Conventions for Raymond James Financial Services, where she was responsible for the planning and execution of eight annual programs. She has been an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 2003. Over the years, Crystal has volunteered to serve on several committees, as well as in leadership positions. In 2006, Crystal earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation. Obtaining this designation, which is administered by the Convention Industry Council, is regarded as the premier certification program in the industry.
