For Businesses:I help businesses to improve while using Six Sigma, Monte Carlo simulation, or data analysis. I help business leaders collect and analyze their data, build models, and forecast results so that they can improve their processes and make more informed business decisions. I work in organizations that may not need full-time support in this area but are facing a specific project or problem and need temporary or part-time help from an expert in these subjects to get the job done and/or answer their questions.Some of my recent and current projects include:•Assessing cost and schedule risk for major projects•Facilitating a process improvement (Six Sigma) project to improve the timeliness of invoicing to improve cash flow and financial statement integrity•Developing equipment reliability models including optimization of preventive maintenance schedules and parts stocking levels•Assisting with the application of Crystal Ball (Monte Carlo simulation) software to a cost estimate in order to better understand the range and likelihood of potential outcomes as well as providing the team knowledge about use of the software itself•Providing on-demand support for Oracle Crystal Ball software usersFor Individuals:As a coach, I help engineers achieve clarity about what they want and remove internal and external obstacles so that they can use their gifts and skills to do work that they enjoy and matters to them.

Implemented continuous improvement strategy for Airport Operations division of United Airlines at its Denver hub, including project selection and chartering, mentoring, and ongoing review to ensure sustained results. Executed improvement projects and mentored other project leaders.

Delivered training on Crystal Ball software including Monte Carlo simulation, forecasting, regression, and optimization to diverse audiences. Completed consulting services for clients including the application of Crystal Ball to spreadsheet models and individualized training sessions to assist them in quantifying and addressing business risks. Led Six Sigma projects to increase sales. Created and modified training materials.

Provided daily engineering support of at first one, then two, polyethylene production trains. Assisted work teams on short and long-term operational improvements in quality, cost, and safety.
