I host regular care communities for Asian American Pacific Islanders/Mixed Race Asians and am a retreat leader, facilitating guided meditations that involve embodiment and imagery to address themes of grief, transitions, walking through the unknown and following the path of one's transformation. I engage in deep listening sessions and soul care work and am recognized both on social media and in person for facilitating complex, tender conversations with compassion and depth. I am a children's author who has been published in 10 countries with my award-winning books, BIRD (middle grade) and ALL THAT I CAN FIX (young adult) and visit schools to inspire youth and people of all ages to claim the power of their voice and live according to their intrinsic worth. I have been featured as a spoken word artist at the Curious Future Encounters film festival and am a regular storyteller on Wisconsin Public Radio.
