The First Suit Project (TFSP) is a 501c3 and was incorporated in the state of Maryland on January 31, 2014. TFSP's mission is to fully equip well deserved college students that attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities with the appropriate business attire and other resources that will enhance their personal brand. TFSP believes NO student should have to wear poorly fitted clothing that diminishes their personal brand, the “YOU” brand.TFSP partnered with INROADS and assisted students with preparing for interviews with the corporate world by conducting mock interviews via telephone with over 30 students. TFSP informed students that phone interviews are often the first interaction with a company before being invited in for an in person interview.TFSP coordinated and partnered with The Baltimore Comedy Factory as a result TFSP was able to host it's FIRST fundraising event and greatly exceeded their goal of $1,000. ALL proceeds from the fundraising event went towards TFSP Scholarship entitled: S.W.A.G.-Scholar With A Gift. TFSP partnered with Morgan State University's MBA Program and presented their FIRST presentation to MBA students about the importance of visual personal branding/what to wear and what not to wear at their upcoming conference: National Black Master of Business Administration Association (NBMBAA) Conference.TFSP hosted their FIRST S.W.A.G. Scholarship Ceremony on the campus of Morgan State University (MSU) at the Murphy Fine Art Center's Recital Hall. Our FIRST S.W.A.G.
