Hello! My name is Crystal Gil, PA-C. I am a recent Physician Assistant Student graduate from University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. I am a NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant. I am seeking a full-time PA position in the Orange County area. I plan to utilize my experiences and knowledge to build professional relationships with my patients. As a healthcare provider, I will work with other healthcare disciplines and motivate them to also do their part in alleviating healthcare disparities and providing appropriate, equitable care for these individuals. I look forward to working with a team of healthcare providers who share a common goal of improving delivery and access to patient care.My work experience has helped me obtain a solid foundation in health care from working as a medical assistant and medical scribe for a family practice clinic for 4 years. During PA school, I gained exceptional interpersonal skills and experience in clinical rotations spanning many medical and surgical specialities. I am self-driven, eager to learn, grow, and collaborate with a team in delivering excellent patient care. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish. Prior to PA school, I attended California State University, Los Angeles where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Public Health. During my studies at CSULA, I took the opportunity to intern at different nonprofit organizations, where I focused on alleviating healthcare disparities of minority communities. I have volunteered for BIENESTAR, Latino Health Access, and Southern California Crossroads – all places with inclusive missions that focus on the Latino community and other marginalized populations. I have worked alongside social workers and former gang members to connect resources to abandoned children and adults, hoping to better their lives. Throughout PA school, I have volunteered for the Student Run Clinic, Trojan Trainer, and Pipeline Program at USC.
