A cancer diagnosis can be devastating and the journey ahead can be difficult to navigate and overwhelming at times. While family and friends may be supportive, imagine a future where you have someone to share the journey with you. Blue Dot Army is a registered charity advocating for positive change to improve experiences for people affected by cancer. We help people to source products and services that ease their journey in a non-medical way.For anyone living remotely from Perth we have partnered with a treatment provider and a hotel to deliver chemotherapy in the comfort of a hotel room avoiding hospital waiting rooms, transport costs and parking fees. This helps to reduce stress and lessens the risk of infection for some patients. Blue Dot Army was established by me (Crystal Howrie) after my own experience with cancer left me determined to change the process and improve the service experience for those undertaking cancer treatment. 'Blue Dot' represents the small tattoo a person with cancer must have to accurately guide the radiologist to administer radiation treatment.
