I teach global health and political economy in the Masters of Public Health program (Health Equity focus).

Mission: We create and implement transformative responses to violence and other forms of harm with marginalized communities through research and people-centered projects. *Manage a small team of fellows every year to support the work of the organization. *Engage with national and international partners to increase the efficacy of social justice movement organizations*Supports regional and national efforts to promote just violence prevention policies, this include memberships within national organizations, the publication of a series of praxis based journals, and policy evaluation. *Hosts regional capacity building training for advocates and front line service professionals that work to prevent hate based violence. *Convene key decision makers and offer capacity building support to organizations that work to end hate based violence across public and private sectors. *Provide unique and tailored curriculum and facilitation of training to public and human service professionals.Clients include: UCSF Center for Nature & Healing, Justice Outside, Trauma Informed Care Oregon, Dress for Success Oregon, Clackamas County Suicide Prevention Coalition, and San Francisco Children of Incarcerated Parents Partnership, King County (WA)

The Community Leadership Institute applies a holistic approach to impacting social change.
