When I graduated with my BA in Latin American Studies I had dreams of moving to Argentina to do some sort of social work -- viva la revolución? But reality quickly set in, I needed to find a job, and I couldn’t imagine leaving my family and leaving California. I quickly realized there was PLENTY to fix in my own background – en mi comunidad.I jumped into nonprofit work and never looked back. I was a case worker in the field for a year, and the remainder of my nonprofit career was spent doing important behind the scenes work, from grant writing to systems enhancement and process improvement. After spending nearly 10 years in the nonprofit sector working with small grassroots agencies to large-scale national organizations throughout Southern California, I decided to launch a nonprofit consulting business to help nonprofits move their mission forward. One day I asked myself "How can I use my skills to be a part of something greater?" and RevComm Consulting was born. At RevComm Consulting, our mission is to revolutionize communities through the power of philanthropy. We are passionate about social justice and creating a community where children thrive, and adults succeed. Our services empower nonprofits to meet the highest needs of the community they serve while always keeping their mission and values at the heart of the solution.
