Crystal Moore is the Vice President of Brilliant Black Minds at Karat. In this role, she oversees the company’s effort to double the number of Black engineers in the U.S. Crystal has held a series of executive roles across the private and public sectors. Prior to Karat, she served as Vice President of Higher Education & Strategic Partnerships at the publicly-traded Strategic Education – leading partnership and leadership initiatives with universities. Crystal has held roles at the White House Domestic Policy Council, the venture-backed ed tech company Fullbridge, and consulting firm Parthenon-EY. A third-generation HBCU alum, Crystal attended Xavier University of Louisiana and received her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She is a previous participant in the Echoing Green Direct Impact Program, a Term member in the Council for Foreign Relations, member of CHIEF, and a graduate member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
