The END initiative focuses on Neglected Tropical Diseases, which affect millions of people worldwide. The Northeastern chapter of the END initiative works with Evidence Action: Deworm the World to raise money and awareness to protect vulnerable populations. As the External Affairs Chair, I am responsible for organizing our annual/ bi-annual speaker panel which features experts in global health and infectious diseases to educate students about current events in global health and NTDs. I also coordinate with organizations, speakers, and experts in the field to organize smaller events throughout the year
