8 weeks internship with EY Malaysia in their Tax department under Global Compliance and Reporting. I was tasked to assist in tax computations. This involves raising queries on financial statements sent by clients, submitting corporate tax computations to Inland Revenue as well as communicating with clients to get required documents.

I was a Director of the Sheffield Student Market, a weekly market which aims to make it easy for students to buy local and cook for themselves, by buying fresh produce from farmers and producers with a Sheffield postcode, and selling it to students. Sheffield StudentMarket Directors are instrumental in the direction and running of the Sheffield Student Market enterprise. I have coordinated volunteers; organised the purchasing, financial, marketing and logistical aspects of the market to ensure the smooth running of this project.

A 4 week internship in the Corporate Finance Department of M&A Securities Sdn Bhd. Upon starting my 1 month internship with M&A Securities, I was given the chance to be involved in an IPO project. On a daily basis I help out with researching on Bloomberg for peers of company that are looking to be listed. Adding on, I help out with the filing and prospectus preparation. I also do help out with proof reading statements that are to be send to BURSA MALAYSIA for announcement.

I was a volunteer for the Sheffield Student Market, a weekly market which aims to make it easy for students to buy and prepare food sustainably. Volunteers buy fresh produce from farmers and producers with a Sheffield postcode, and sell it to students. I was involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the market, and responsibilities include: setting up and taking down the market, and selling fresh local produce to students. I also had the opportunity to attend team meetings, at which the direction of future markets and the responsibilities of individual students are decided. In order to ensure the smooth running of the market, volunteers must be organised, punctual and good communicators.

An active member of Enactus Sheffield (formerly 'SIFE': 'Students In Free Enterprise') team. Enactus is a student company that aims to harness students' volunteering and entrepreneurial spirit, to make a difference in the Sheffield community and further afield.
