About Teresa Tran

Teresa is currently a legal director of CARES Lawyers and Founder of Asia Oasis in South Australia. Teresa is most passionate about cultural diversity and human rights. Treating everyone with dignity is her belief and action. Teresa has always had a deep concern regarding the ongoing injustice and violations of human rights in Vietnam and around the world. In May 2016, Teresa and her young friends established the International Youth Movement for Human Rights, a non-profit organisation. Teresa was the president of the Vietnamese Student Association during her years at the University of Adelaide. She had been a legal writer for a number of newspapers and regularly provides free community legal education for various ethnic communities & women’s associations.
