Ensure environmental compliance for federal, provincial and state legislation across Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Oregon and South Carolina. Introducing climate change adaptation strategies to sites across a number of provinces and states; making mitigation and adaptation strategies specific to each location's unique environment.Managed the corporate carbon footprint and sustainability programming across Canada and the United States. Worked with various operations including organic resource, emulsions and construction to identify opportunities to introduce sustainable initiatives and minimize environmental risks and impacts.

Responsible for conducting audits for two carbon offset projects (landfill gas utilization and destruction) to be verified and available for public sale; between the two projects, approximately 500,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent are reduced each year. Conducted extensive research into the feasibility of developing carbon offset project that include organic resource and biosolids management. Research included the application of relevant protocols and market demand of carbon offsets based on the nature of carbon projects.I also developed several reports including an overview of waste management in Ontario, U.S. legislative requirements for organic waste management and corporate sustainability strategy.
