Reentry Program Manager
As a Community Partnership Specialist, I establish and nurture partnershipswith community programs and collaborate cross-functionally to developcomprehensive community strategies for reentry efforts. I proactivelyadvocate for reentry initiatives and effectively raise awareness for policychanges and desired resources.I demonstrate leadership and organizational skills by coordinating andleading community meetings to educate stakeholders on the criticalimportance of key reentry services, including behavioral health,transportation, housing, family reunification, and vocational training. Iserve as a dedicated outreach and in-reach liaison for the JusticeReinvestment Initiative Office.I collaborate with government, non-profit, for-profit, and communitypartners while leveraging participant feedback to drive meaningful programrevisions. I facilitate comprehensive training sessions that providevaluable insights on reentry programs. I organize annual community serviceevents and hiring events.My innovative ideas and strategies for creating and expanding programs thinkoutside the box to achieve desired results. I embrace a growth mindset andremain resilient when faced with unexpected challenges.Some of my notable accomplishments include spearheading the development of acommunity resource coalition and taking membership from one to over 100 inless than nine months. I conducted a comprehensive analysis to identify keyareas of improvement and implemented effective strategies to strengthenreentry programs. Additionally, I championed broad homelessness resources,bringing the issue to city leaders' attention. I utilized planning andexecution skills to organize and host successful career and resource fairs.
