About Crystina Scott
After 20 years as a nationally certified interpreter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Crystina Scott and her husband Walter bought ASL Communication. As owner and CEO, Crystina, with the support of her husband, has shown her passion for entrepreneurship by growing her business from a single person staff to now over 15 staff members, 200 freelance and full-time interpreters including consulting and educating members of the community regarding ADA compliance. Crystina received her BA in Communication in 2002 from UNLV where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She previously received her A.S. Degree and national certification in interpreting. Additionally, Crystina is a member of the National Registry for the Deaf, (RID), National Association of the Deaf, NVRID, UTRID, supports the Sego Lilly Center for Abused Deaf, and various organizations that support and advocate for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing.
