This has been a beneficial aspect during sprints as we assess priorities, and attend review meetings to determine if a feature is ready for technical integration and eventual release. I was one of the first testers to be brought into release prep meetings and we have set forth the initiative to involve QA in reviews going forward to report our findings.

Quality Assurance
As Quality Assurance, I conducted tests to identify, gather and document bugs by priority systems and features assigned to myself and our team. Instructor
After I graduated from DePaul University in 2013, I taught Level Design and Character Modeling using Unreal Engine 3 and Autodesk Maya, to young campers at the Digital Media Academy. For 5 weeks, I was hands-on, project-based learning for students (ages 10-16) in the introduction and exploration of gaming. Taught key concepts in a variety of formats: hands-on, direct instruction, group work, and one-on-one, with students. Guided students through the completion of a personal project from brainstorming and concept development, through coding and development, to completion and testing. I wrote custom curriculum and made video tutorials for student use to supplement instructional class time.On our breaks, I would introduce students to current games with cooperative structures. We played a Cooperative Mod of Jenga I made called, "Blind Jenga" wherein players removing the blocks must close their eyes, while an adjacent player communicates instructions verbally for removal of a block. Language used by the students as they provide instructions to one another transitions from early-game "frantic" and fast, to "precise" and methodical as they remove blocks blindly. As all students had individual projects, I found it important to display methods of Trust; the necessary behavior required of any good teammate.
