Consult stores on a contract basis to re-energize business in the areas of category management, merchandising, marketing, and operations. Evaluate prior year sales and determine steps needed to update POS systems, streamline procurement through customs and renegotiate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout delivery process. Revamp food safety program in the store to current Local, USDA and/or Virginia State Department of Health food safety code, as well as update policy and procedures to current US OSHA standards within the store.
