Social Phenomenologist
CurrentThe difference between a therapist, and a social phenomenologist, is that a therapist takes an individual out from their natural environment to a sterile one, and try to figure out what is wrong with them, what is the problem. The phenomenologist says, that the problem is not with the individual, the problem is always inbetween, in the relationship between at least 2 participants, therefore the solution also needs to be social. Also, that most of the time the problem emerge, because we use the words badly. So my task as a phenomenolgist is not to give advice, or come up with a solution to a certain situation, but to describe with different words, from different angles and try to figure out, what is going on.Also I don't believe in mental diseases. People can have brain disease or injuries but the most of the people, who are admitted to hospitals, psychiatries and other institutions are actually people, who have problems with living. So by finding out about those problems and providing enough space and time, someone may learn a way how to solve them. Rather then supressing them with heavy sedatives and insolation.I learnt the most fr Dr Andrew Feldmár
