Right after the Trade School, I started to work for the Fotex-Ofotert Optical-Photo Company. (I had a 4-months pause in 1998.)I have worked as a salesman, I have printed and developed films (in a photo-lab), I have been a sales manager as well; mentioned below on the 'Experience' field.I am eager to learn new things as well in my profession. I would try myself somewhere else in the world...I have been working in a so called 'separated' workshop in one of the stores of the Ofotert Company since November of 2000.My duties are the followings:-lens acceptance (they are delivered every workdays)-reading and interpreting prescriptions from eye specialists-checking the lenses optically and controlling of their surfaces-locating and marking optical centres and axes on lens blanks and making calculations to grind lenses to specifications-using the form tracer to define the shape of the frames-grinding and polishing the surface of the lenses by setting grinding machines-if it is needed, fining the form of the lenses-bevelling the inner edge of the lenses-testing polished lenses for accuracy-shaping and fitting lenses to spectacle frames-cleaning ready glasses-repair damaged and broken spectacles-adapting deformed eyeglasses to the head of our customers-cleaning and maintaining grinding machines and other equipment-maintaining the grinding wheels as well-doing minor repairs-helping my colleagues-sometimes teaching junior colleaguesPersonal requirements:-good eyesight-good hand-eye coordination-patience and accuracy-an aptitude for mathematics and physicsAccording to the DISC Behavioral System, my style is "C" (or in other words, my colour is "BLUE").My motto is: Experience, Reliability and Diligence.
