I work near to Budapest in a city of 70.000 people as general medical practitioner for an international healthcare unit providing emergency medical service 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Megyeri Egeszseghaz (Health Centre) is a reference clinic of Storz Medical Equipment Company (Austria) in Budapest (Hungary) that involves nearly all important health professions from the latest internal medicine up to the "natural" medical fields. Our clinic is very well equipped with the latest medical instruments, lab, sonographic, electro-diagnostic, radiologic, etc. facilities. My major fields are: general ob/gyn outpatient provision, caring the menopause, male and female infertility, contraception, prenatal screening (e.g. for chromosomal aberrations), genetic counselling. Our clinic established a very modern "one-day surgery" unit, where I have got very much to do, mainly minor gynaecological operations, and invasive obstetrician diagnosis (like CVS, amniocentesis, laparoscopy, etc.). We are facing the start, that is to say we are waiting for the last "stamps" from the top health authorities. The Megyeri Health Centre will not be cheap, it is going to be precious and valuable, conducting activities that are novel in the medicine. Patients from the western, expensive, not rarely ineffective health systems are very welcome.In every respect, including the building, standard of doctors' offices as well as the reception services are superb, far over the EU average level. Still our prices are much lower than that.
