Product Owner / Product Manager – Affiliate Program
ROLE SUMMARYI’m managing the product portfolio of a high traffic website’s (Alexa global rank: 55) Affiliate Program, Whitelabel product and external partner API solutions.RESPONSIBILITIES• Having vision what we want to build and where we want to go• Defining business goals, initiatives and strategic steps to achieve them• Keeping roadmaps up-to-date• Communicating overall status to stakeholders• Keeping developers, project managers and stakeholders updated about the projects• Responsible to gather business and functional requirements• Identifying issues and suggesting workarounds• Responsible for stakeholder management to ensure that all relevant inputs to the product backlog have been collected and prioritized• Writing Epics, User Stories, business and functional requirements, developing wireframes• Working closely with UX team to deliver designs with a focus on optimal user experience• Collaborating with Project Managers to identify and coordinate cross-team dependencies• Prioritizing products' backlogs to deliver maximum business value• Participating in team planning meetings and be available to provide advice, clarification and guidance during the execution of each sprint• Reviewing completed work from the development sprints• Managing Change Control Processes• Managing releases• Managing social media information campaigns about new releases• Managing designs of creatives for live events with partners• Developing an understanding of the target market, user base and using them to guide product decisions
