Project: Biocatalytic controlled radical polymerizations of heterocyclic aromatic vinyl monomers Responsible for:• Designing and optimizing new functional materials based on imidazoles via biocatalytic controlled polymerization and investigating fundamental aspects of biocatalytic reactions• Performing material characterization on functional polymer systems and carrying out enzyme characterization by activity assays and performing SDS PAGE• Co-inventing of a patent application based on highly reactive functional materials by biocatalytic polymerizations• Recognized with Mihály Polányi Young Investigator Award (Chemical Sciences) for outstanding scientific work in the field of Physical Chemistry• Developing collaborations with academic partners in the investigation of polymeric systems• Publishing and communicating scientific articles and research findings at international conferences
