Experienced competition expert with a comprehensive understanding of competition law and economics. Interest both in substantive and institutional aspects of competition policy, and also in its relations with other public policies, especially consumer protection and economic regulation of network industries.Dealing with a variety of policy issues for more than thirty years as official in the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH). Heavy involvement in a wide range of tasks including competition advocacy, supporting complex cases, drafting guidelines, preparing annual reports of the GVH, representing the GVH in various domestic and international fora such as the OECD. Extended experience in providing and receiving technical assistance as well as in capacity building and staff training, and in studying and adapting international best practices in general.
