I took part in a project for an IT company as a database designer, DBA and PL/SQL programmer. The project aimed to create a logistics control system for a plastic manufac-turing company. My job was to design and create the database structure and prepare all the necessary stored procedures and functions. This system had to able to get and pass data to the accounting and other systems. Finally the project has grown to a complex pro-duction management system.

In 1997 I went to the Police Department of Komárom-Esztergom County. In 1999 I have been commissioned officer and as the head of the computer administration depart-ment I supervised the computer networks of the county’s police offices. I had to face de-manding difficulties during this period. We have created new and modern structural net-work, changed the network operation system and connected our internal networks to each other and to the countrywide police network with routers.

In 1994 I changed my workplace for better financial and professional conditions and I was employed as a head of the computer science department at the Job Center of the Komárom-Esztergom County. I was responsible for 3 different jobs: besides the manager duties I had to do the hardware works and create new software. Unfortunately the ade-quate conditions weren’t provided and I quitted in October 1994

In 1989 the Mining plant of Nagyegyháza were closed and I got a job at the former Central Workshop, so I worked for the Steel Structure and Machinery Mending Division as the only computer-trained person. My responsibilities were to establish computer network and maintain them, including to do hardware, software and network-management things. I created some user’s software (usually business data processing programs) for pre-calculation, supplementary for wage-accountancy, stock inventories and so on. In 1992 the division became an LTD

At my first work place I learnt how to use the IBM XT and DOS 3.0 and some programs running under it, moreover I learned how important was to protect our computers against viruses.
