CurrentManage the GIS program at MBI, providing GIS support for the evaluation, design, deployment, and operation of broadband networks. Provided 4 years of GIS data management, mapping, and analysis support to the design and build a 1,200 mile fiber-optic network that connected 123 towns and over 1100 community institutions to high speed internet. Managed a 5 year, $6 million program to collect and map broadband availability data for the National Broadband Map, develop a Gov 2.0 Veterans’ Portal, and distribute small business technical assistance grants on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in collaboration with the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and organizations from all 55 other US states and territories.
