Closely collaborating with the company’s Italian designer, our task is to create the full interior design for Segafredo Coffee shops and various Ice cream shops. After developing the 3D concept with the designer, I transform it into executive drawings that are sent into production. My task is to detail the full design of the shop including the technical and assembly drawings for furniture, separating walls (ex.: gypsum board walls), water lines and electrical cabling needed for the equipment installation (ex.: refrigerators, ice cream makers and cabinets, washing machines, etc.), floor and wall covering, the calculation and creation of material lists, material procurement. I use AutoCad for the 2D drawings and Google SketchUp for 3D modelling.

The company designs, produces and installs storage solutions for warehouses ex. pallet racks, gravity flow racks, multi-tier racks, racks for picking, etc.I worked as a design engineer, my work consisted in:Technical design and creation of presentational 2D drawings in AutoCad, finding and presenting the optimal solutions, and making the necessary calculations for every project appart;Providing specialized technical support to all of my colleagues from my department and to our clients from Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic;Collaboration with the pre-manufactured element providers from Romania and Germany;The biggest challenge was to design the optimal system based on our client’s demands, while applying the rules and standards that are specific to every system and country apart. The concept and development of non-standard elements and constructions requires a high amount of creativity and technical knowledge.

The company works within the building services and installations.I worked as a design engineer, my primary responsibility was the design of water supplies, sewer pipe systems, sewage treatment plants, the preparing of the necessary documentations andtechnical billing, topographical studies.
