Initiated and led the brand-new graduate medical education and internal medicine residency program accreditation. Instrumental in receiving the Institutional Accreditation from ACGME to oversee and support the Internal Medicine Residency Program with 57 residents and Psychiatry Residency Program with 20 residents. Involved in ACGME Institutional and residency site visits representing the Institutional Executive leadership. Chaired Graduate Medical Education Committee for seven years. He was the liaison between NAMC, ACGME, NRMP, ECFMG, and Medical boards. DIO responsibilities include but are not limited to1. Chairman of GMEC (Graduate Medical Education Committee).2. Residency program education and educational administration at the institutional level. 3. Participate in selecting a qualified program director, associate program director, program faculty, program coordinator, and other GME department staff. 4.
