CurrentThe Human Resilience Project’s mission is to explore and enhance human wellbeing in a dynamic world.• Define and lead research on complementary therapies to improve addiction and trauma treatment outcomes, emphasizing and including non-Western activities, perspectives, and ontologies• Serve as principal investigator for research into “everyday” bravery and human resilience• Build research teams that include people often marginalized or overlooked, to broaden input into mental health policy and practice• Mentor and support research associates, students, and others who participate in research projects, ensuring that relationships are reciprocal• Supervise postgraduate research/writing, including students and junior faculty serving internationally• Educate the public via media interviews and writing about innovations in mental health related to connection, community, and the environment• Oversee all aspects of project logistics, business, and administration• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, NGOs, professional associations, colleagues, and communities affected by threats to mental health and wellbeing• Engage with media to promote research into resilience• Fundraise to support research worldwide, meeting all funding needs
