Dev Bootcamp is a 9-week intensive training program for web developers, specializing in Ruby and Rails. I graduated the program in March 2014.- I built a fluency in Ruby, Javascript, SQL, HTML, and CSS with a focus both on solving algorithmic problems as well as on web application design and structure.- Through a series of hands-on group projects that produced functional web applications, I learned the value of version control, team communication, test driven development, and iterative software development.- I gained a further appreciation for the "soft" skills that are so integral for being a great developer -- respect, empathy, compassion, management, and acknowledgement of different experiences and viewpoints.
